AGC Equity Partners is a global alternative asset investment firm. KKS was asked to propose a concept design for their Mayfair offices in an understated style that expressed the firm’s responsible approach to investor funds.

Exposing the workspace was integral, via a central staircase feature that took visitors from a common ground floor reception. The staircase was equally important for employees, creating flow and informal ad hoc communication. Materials and finishes ascend with the staircase, notably through an intriguing balustrade detail echoing massive bronze fretwork entrance screens. A lattice-work chandelier over the staircase space adds drama to the journey.

KKS designed meeting rooms with bespoke-stained oak tables incorporating IT. Value engineering was critical, but one feature was not cut: an integrated karaoke system within the employee café.
